eos Lip Balm Sphere

One of my new favorite finds is eos (evolution of smooth) Lip Balm. I love the funky sphere packaging, it seems ultra-modern (the real reason I like it is it makes it easier to me to find it in my purse). The Sweet Mint and Lemon Drop flavors are my favorite, but is also available in Vanilla Bean, Summer Fruit, Honeysuckle Honeydew and Pomegranate Raspberry. I love that the Lemon Drop has SPF 15. I have been trying to integrate more natural and organic things into what I eat, wear and use, so I was thrilled to find out that eos Lip Balms are 95% USDA Organic, 100% natural and petrolatum and paraben free. The Vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil help lips stay moist and smooth. One sphere lasts a long time. You can pick it up at your local drug store (for sure Walgreens or CVS carry it).

Just FYI - eos also makes an amazing shave cream, but it's hard to find. I had to buy it from drugstore.com.

Review: Sara Happ the lip slip®

the lip slip® is the newest product from Sara Happ, creator of the cult favorite lip scrub line.  It is not colored, it just gives a soft pinky, dewy shine. It is hydrating at first but it doesn't stay on long and I think it left my lips drier than they were before. I also didn't enjoy the slight burn I felt after wearing it a few minutes. Full disclosure: I did not buy the much lauded Sara Happ lip scrub®. Apparently you should exfoliate your lips with this before trying the lip slip®. At $24 dollars apiece, I had to choose between the gloss and the scrub. I chose the gloss. They give you a generous amount that lasts quite a while, but $24 is still a lot for a pot of lip gloss. It is infused with Sweet Almond, Jojoba & Macadamia nut oils. It was fine, but I wasn't wowed. At that price I expect to be WOWED. Sara Happ the lip scrub® and the lip slip® are available for purchase at www.sarahapp.com ,  www.shopintuition.com or at www.amazon.com .
